It is... but I recommend against watching the entire series in two days. It messes with your head. I was so depressed after watching season one. Nothing like a depressed alcoholic horse to make you think deeply about the meaning of life.

The quality of the show really picks up at the half way point of season one. Also the final episode of season one is called “Downer Ending.”

Yeah it is! I got halfway through the first season a couple months ago then got distracted by a ton of other shows on the DVR, just finally finished the first and am moving on to the second this weekend.

Also underrated, if you’re into this sort of thing, is Hemlock Grove. There are a ton of Netflix original series I have waiting to be watched. Most with high hopes.

The show sucks for the first few episodes. At about episode 5 and up it really gets better. Season two is fantastic.
